Unico
is magical. When I was v.small, like 3, our local video library had a
copy. And every time we went there I got out the unico video. Untill
the video broke when I was 6. And apparently its very hard to get
hold of the videos. So I had never seen it or anything unico since
then. But thanks to the wonderfull world wide web and anime web
turnpike, we have been reunited. I have been searching for Unico
stuff for years, almost to the point where I thought I had imagined
it. But look, that cute little pink haired unicorn in the corner,
thats Unico that is.
Please, if anyone has any unico videos, books, any bloody thing, let me know. And for you Unico virgins, here is a synopsis I found on someones page.
Unico is a tiny white unicorn with pink hair and a tiny horn, "the size of a toothpick". When he was born, he found he had the powers to make those around him happy. For example, in the opening credits of one of his movies,he was shown walking through a war torn area, and by the time he was gone,everyone was laughing and hugging each other. Aside from the fact that he makes others good, he's good hearted himself.It's hard for him to understand why anyone would want to be unhappy or evil,because those things aren't a part of him.
One more power he has is to grant the wishes of those who he cares about.However, if they become greedy he isn't able preform the deeds.
The main thrust in the movie is that the gods who rule everything, became jealous of Unico's power. They considered it their job to decide who was happy and who was not. So they ordered the West Wind, the kindly wind spirit, to kidnap Unico and abandon him on the Hill of Oblivian.But she just couldn't bear to do it. So, she took him instead to another place, the Island of Solitude, home of the son of the devil, named Beasel.
Unico succeeded in winning Beasel's heart, and he became good....kind of. It took awhile, (and the promise of his own horn).
Finally the gods discovered where Unico was, so the West Wind carries him off to one place after another, where he won't be lonely. His movies revolve around that basis....he's forever wandering the Earth because of his powers.
